Inspired by the acrobats and dancers of Cirque De Soleil, Richard MacDonald’s sculptural work often exhibits a sense of dynamism, of movement and fluidity.  And while Bullwhip is rather static, standing with feet flat and shoulders facing forward, it somehow manages to exude that same sense of dynamism, that same power, found in so much of the artist’s other work–a true testament to MacDonald’s prodigious talent.
